Emulsion polymerization in the presence of gel microparticles. Can be synthesized in large quantities and easily.

Solid microparticles can be freely fixed at targeted positions within a water-soluble gel. By combining solid components, we have overcome the weaknesses of gel microparticles and achieved multifunctionality. It can be adapted to various emulsion polymerization monomers such as polystyrene, polymethyl methacrylate, and polymethyl ethyl acrylate.
